As a satellite event of Booktoberfest, presented by The Writers Federation of Nova Scotia and Halifax Public Libraries, join in on a spine-tingling "who dunnit" discussion with seven Halifax crime writers (Pamela Callow, Anne Emery, Steven Laffoley, Bretton Loney, Carol Moreira, Peter Moreira and Anne Louise O'Connell), sharing their latest releases and more.


Dartmouth Book Exchange will be on hand to sell books from all the guest authors. Pick up your very own signed copy or check off your mystery-loving family members and friends from your holiday shopping list!

This year we will be featuring OC Publishing authors who have launched books since last Booktoberfest: Julie Strong (The Tudor Prophecy), Anne Louise O'Connell (Deep Freeze), Francene Gillis (Where Did i Go?), Jill MacLean (The Arrows of Fealty), Carolyn Nicholson (The Last Witch on Skye), and we'll have a sneak peek at Corinne Hoebers' debut novel Thethered Spirits that will release shortly after Booktoberfest, on October 18th.


Books will be for sale and authors will be available for signing at the following times:

1:00-3:00 - Carolyn Nicholson and Francene Gillis
